System shock 2 final boss - shodan10/4/2023 ![]() ![]() When entering the room, bait Diego into firing his missiles at you then dodge out the way by stafing right or left with sprint. The best combo for this is the Plasma Rifle and the Railgun. The second method is to use your strongest guns from afar to slowly pick away at his health while dodging his projectiles. If you get just lucky enough, you should fell him in five or six blows, ending the fight early. If you want to take him out with the Laser Rapier, the tactic is to use a Berserk stim before entering the room, throw an EMP to stun him and then equip the Laser Rapier and attack with everything you have. As such, we can use EMP grenades to stun him. This time around, he will punch you when you get close, destroying about a quarter of your health bar each time he lands a blow. While melee with the Laser Rapier is very powerful, Diego is much less of a pushover than when we met him in Executive. The first method is the strategy we've used for most bosses in the game so far with one added measure. As such, there are two methods here that largely work, although it might still take some timing and a little luck to fully pull off. The missiles will still hit you regardless of if you're hiding out of sight. Worse yet, the columns that supposedly act as cover do absolutely nothing. ![]() ![]() He's got missiles that do a ton of splash damage, a laser cannon that ruins your health bar, a lightning gun and a shield. Edward Diego is guarding the escape pod hoping for a rematch, and this time he's bigger, meaner and able to wipe you off the face of Citadel Station in about two seconds if you get complacent. After finally reaching the entrance to The Bridge in Security, we'll have one final hurdle to surpass. ![]()
